Weddings are a public witness of the love between a man and a woman and they can be the most wonderful occasions. At Pear Tree we promise that we will do our best to help you plan for the day itself and for the years ahead. 

Weddings have three aspects - almost like a milking stool having three legs - and all three need to be in place to make it work.

 1. A wedding is a Spiritual occasion - we come together before God

2. A wedding is a Community occasion - we come together in public

3. A wedding is a Personal occasion - to join this man and woman

 At Pear Tree we will help you sort out your wedding day, but we will also challenge you to build your marriage on strong foundations.

For that reason the Church of England calls the service itself a 'Marriage' Service - it's not just for the day.
