This is
the view you get as you drive in to the Car Park from Pear Tree Road.
Pear
Tree Church Hall was built in 1976 as the result of a previous hall
being compulsorily purchased to allow the Itchen Bridge to be built.
It is run
by Pear Tree Church for the benefit of the wider community.
A whole
range of activities from coffee to karate take place here.
Scroll
down for further information and a series of links.
Booking the Hall
The Hall
can be booked for regular or one-off events.
Contact:
Mrs. Carter (023) 8044 3520
The Hall
is licensed for Music, Dancing and Amateur Dramatics up to 11pm and has
a limit of up to 200 people (although we do not recommend taking this
number to the limit).
The main
Hall floor area measures: 41ft by 36ft (or 12.6m by 10.98m)
There is
a large raised stage which enables a wide range of activities to take
place - or simply close the curtains and use the main area.
The sale
of alcohol is strictly forbidden UNLESS a Temporary Licence has been
obtained.
No-one
under the age of 21 can book the Hall and all bookings are at the
discretion of the Hall Committee.
Pear
Tree Church Hall can be used for children's parties, for hospitality
after Baptisms or Funerals, for wedding receptions, business meetings,
etc. etc. etc.
