Baptism - which is commonly called a 'Christening' - is a time when Christians celebrate new birth and a new belonging to God's faithful people.

  At Pear Tree Church we believe Baptism to be an important step in a life of faith and it is a step we like to take slowly and carefully.

  Except in emergencies we don't rush Baptism - but want to take time to savour a special occasion when the Christian community at Pear Tree Church can welcome a new Christian into what we call a Covenant Community.
